Six Players to Pick Up Before Kickoff

If you have an open roster spot, these are six players I’d be looking to stash before kickoff today. My priority order:
1. Emanuel Wilson — RB, Seahawks
With rookie Jadarian Price now on IR, Wilson is in line for a much larger workload. Zach Charbonnet is eligible to return next week, but Seattle’s backfield split remains a major question. Wilson has the clearest path to immediate touches.
2. Darren Waller — TE, Panthers
Waller’s usage has already started trending up, and now Jalen Coker is unlikely to play while Xavier Legette is on IR. Add in a matchup with Detroit, which has allowed the most fantasy points to tight ends, and Waller has legitimate top-5 upside this week.
3. Marvin Harrison Jr. — WR, Cardinals
Yes, I understand why people are dropping him. But Harrison remains an intriguing stash. If Arizona moves him at the trade deadline and puts him in an offense that actually features him, his fantasy value could change quickly. I’d rather roster him than watch someone else benefit.
4. Tyjae Spears — RB, Titans
Tony Pollard is a potential trade-deadline candidate. If Tennessee moves him, Spears could suddenly become the team’s primary back. That’s enough upside to stash him now, with low-end RB2 potential if the backfield opens up.
5. Tyreek Hill — WR, Dolphins
This is purely about upside. Mid-October is approaching, and if Hill returns and becomes fantasy-relevant, his value could skyrocket. I’d rather have him sitting on my bench than be the manager scrambling to acquire him after his return.
6. Kendre Miller — RB, Saints
With Travis Etienne on IR, New Orleans still has questions about how the backfield will be distributed between Kamara and Miller. Miller is a flyer, but the opportunity is potentially significant enough to warrant a roster spot.
