What goes into a DVS?
Draft Value Score (DVS) is our weighted composite ranking for QB/RB/WR/TE, built from five pillars scored 0–100 within each position group and blended using position-specific weights (for example, Opportunity carries more weight for RBs, while Efficiency matters more for QBs):
- Opportunity
- Volume of touches — target share, carries, receptions, snap counts.
- Efficiency
- EPA per play, yards per route run, and other per-touch production metrics.
- Upside
- Air yards, aDOT, target quality, and explosive-play ceiling.
- Context
- Team strength, offensive line quality, pace, and scoring rate.
- Age Curve
- Real researched age scored against a position-specific aging curve — RBs decline earliest, QBs age best.
DVS is only computed for QB/RB/WR/TE — these advanced metrics don’t meaningfully apply to K/D-ST. We also compare each player’s DVS rank to their real Average Draft Position (ADP) to flag bargains vs. overvalued picks (see Value Diff and Verdict in the table below).
Player Rankings
Real 2026 players, ADP, and projections. DVS (Draft Value Score, QB/RB/WR/TE only) is a weighted composite of five pillars — Opportunity, Efficiency, Upside, Context, and Age Curve — each its own 0-100 percentile within position; hover the DVS score for a quick summary of all five, or toggle on “Pillar Scores” above to add them as their own sortable columns. Preseason DVS is the original hand-researched score, fixed all season. 2026 DVS (Wk 1) blends that preseason score with each player’s real 2026 performance so far, phased in by games played (a player with more real games leans more on real production; someone who hasn’t played a real 2026 game yet just shows their preseason score) — with only 1 week of games so far, it still leans heavily on preseason research and will keep updating in real weight as the season goes on. Refreshed by request, not automatically. 2026 DVS also uses two slightly simplified Efficiency inputs where the original preseason stat isn’t available from free sources this way: RB Efficiency is yards-per-carry alone (no yards-after-contact), and WR/TE Efficiency is catch rate alone (no yards-per-route-run). Context and Age Curve, and the Position Tiers / Trade Analyzer / Lineup Optimizer tools below, are not affected by this toggle — they still use Preseason DVS only. The Value column compares each player’s DVS rank to their real ADP rank within their position to flag bargains vs. overvalued picks — ADP, 2025 Pts, and Value are all hidden while 2026 DVS is selected, since they compare a player against their preseason draft market, which a blended in-season score doesn’t map onto cleanly. K/D-ST have no DVS/pillar/value data. Click any column header to sort, or a player’s name for their full breakdown. Position Tiers
Instead of arbitrary cutoffs like “top 5 is Tier 1,” these tiers are computed from real breaks in each player’s DVS using Jenks natural breaks, a statistical method that groups players by finding the biggest, most natural gaps in the data — the same technique cartographers use to bucket choropleth maps. A big gap between two players means a real tier break; a small gap means they belong together, even if one is drafted a round or two ahead of the other. The number of tiers also isn’t fixed — deeper, more spread-out groups like RB and WR split into more tiers than shallower ones like QB, so each position gets as much (or as little) separation as its real variability supports.

Trade value here is each player’s real 2026 season projection (Full PPR points) — the one number that’s directly comparable across every position. DVS is shown per player as extra context (is he a bargain or overvalued relative to where he’s being drafted?) but isn’t summed into the total, since DVS is a percentile within a position group, not a cross-position value. This tool doesn’t account for true positional scarcity/replacement-level value the way a full dynasty trade calculator would — treat it as a sanity check, not a final word.
